The story of our baseball team
当安博士从欧洲来到海南岛的时候，这里几乎没有文化：没有古典音乐，很少有大型博物馆可以参观艺术和历史。运动也很缺乏，其中有一些很流行也广为流传，但却没有更西式的运动像橄榄球，足球和棒球。
海岸的美的很大一个因素是它靠着中国最南岛的河流但这还不够，缺少了最好的能让生活更有趣的人类活动。热带气候也对当地人产生了不利影响，使他们更倾向于懒惰而且承受着无穷无尽的无聊。
因此，经过10年的忧郁之后，安博士决定在海南最美的地方之一博鳌组建一个棒球队，博鳌的最主要的河流与大海接壤，其中遍布了许多小岛屿。目前，在许多海南土著人和一些其他的中国人还有欧洲朋友的帮助下，每个人都在努力使“蝙蝠”棒球队变成一个更专业也更持久的队伍的想法成真。
所有参与者刻苦训练并梦想着成为这个伟大运动里的佼佼者以在这个岛屿短暂的历史上留下印记。
为什么叫“蝙蝠”呢？很简单，因为教练总是很崇拜这种高度进化并遍布海南的哺乳动物, 它们惊人的速度给我们如何拥有最好的接球技术带来无限灵感。

When Dr. Anleis arrived in Hainan island from Europe, there was almost no culture: no classic music, a few big places like museums where to see arts or history. Sports were lacking too, some of them, very popular, widespread, but not those more Western like rugby, soccer and baseball. The beauty of the shore bathed by the rivers of the southernmost Chinese island was a factor that could not stay without other best human activities which make life really interesting. Tropical climate also adversely affected the local population, which tends to be lazy and constantly bears boredom.
So, after almost ten years of melancholy, Dr. Anleis decided to set up a baseball team in one of the most beautiful places in Hainan, Boao, a land full of tiny islets located inside one of the major rivers whose mouth meets the sea. Presently, with the help of some natives of Hainan and other Chinese and European friends, everybody is working hard to make the baseball team named "Hainan Bats" a more professional and durable reality.
All participants are dreaming and training to become really proficient in this great sport to make a mark in the short history of the island.
Why the name "bats"? Simply because the coach has always admired this type of very evolved mammal spread in Hainan, which rapidity brings to mind the best technique for catching the ball.
